About Us

Welcome

Getting rooted in the Word of God is critical for a new believer. The Stress-less Lamb was written to help those who have converted to Christianity to become successful in their walk with God. This book is a basic guideline for those wishing to find their potential in God - amidst the evil that is rampant today. Loaded with Bible verses, the book equips the new believer to find an intimate connection with the God of the universe. There is nothing more powerful than having a relationship with our Creator. We were designed to be overcomers against the onslaught of Satan and his sleight of hand tactics. We do this by staying connected daily with the lover of our soul, Jesus Christ.

Ellen Lyon has tackled a challenging topic from the perspective of experience. Her thoughts and portrayal of how to let Jesus Christ have our increasing seasons of difficulty is instructive. The material is both thoughtful and thought-provoking.  This speaks to where life is truly lived.  We must not despair at the abundance of sin or the pressure to conform; instead we take those things to the Lord Jesus. She helps coax us and coach us toward that sort of behavior.

Back of Book Reviews

In a culture that promotes hard work and increasing deadlines, stress has become one of the leading causes of sickness. Ellen's well-researched book is a concise little manual that presents a biblical plan to de-stress your life. Open up your Bible and let these inspirational guidelines bring restoration and peace to your life. Pam Eddings, Editor

This book clearly affirms the truth that without God, we are likely to be enveloped in a stress filled atmosphere where stress may invade every area of life, making it impossible for us to move forward. But, when we carry our burdens to God and rely on His help, his mighty strength is felt in us. The author clearly exhorts us to purely internalize the Word of God and to remain sensitive to the voice of God. Jolly Jacob, Former teacher-St. Mary’s Anglo Indian Girls H.S., OM in Global Media Outreach and IELTS Trainer, India

As we spend time with The Lord, His ways become written in our hearts. This book not only offers a pleasant approach towards praying the 23rd Psalms, but inspires faith to trust in our loving God, Jesus Christ. I love this — “His words become engrafted into our soul through repeated and continual dialogue with God.” (Pp 80-81) The stories behind the flowers and book cover contribute comfort and warmth to your book. Dr. Michelle Hart, Licensed Minister, Licensed Clinical Counselor, Grief and Loss Specialist, Pastoral Care MS, Doctorate Temperament Counseling, Soteric Counseling

This is a great book and well structured. I pray that it has the impact that it is written for. We need to have some special prayers for the Holy Spirit to touch people to rush for it. Sefakor Komabu-Pomeyie, Founder & President, EEPD AFRICA, Ghana

The deep Biblical insight and compassion for people that is rooted in Ellen Lyon’s heart reaches out through the pages of The Stress-Less Lamb. This is not just another book that tells the reader how to deal with stress from a Biblical view, it is a handbook that shows the reader how to connect with Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, through masterfully focused, step-by-step, Biblical prayer. Diana Sullivan, New Hampshire Minister’s Wife

In "The Stress-Less Lamb," you will find keys for developing the habits of listening for the voice of the Shepherd and learning to relax and enjoy those times of communion. During those times of quietness, you can release your stresses to the lover of your soul and the tensions will leave your mind and body. "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7)
